Short stay tents and marquees are incredibly useful and serve a variety of purposes. Our stock consists of many sizes for temporary use as well as the unique rental of a 900sq/m workshop tent, situated at our base in Leavesden, UK.
Steel-Sided Workshop Tent
Makin Locations has a unique 900sq/m (20m x 45m) steel-sided workshop tent. This luxury tent can be used for a variety of purposes such as stunt preparation, equipment holding, or even studio use. The tent is located at our Kings Langley base, close to Leavesden Studios.
Classic Marquees & Tents
Our marquees and tents are a fantastic pop-up anywhere solution. Open spaces can be quickly transformed into makeup studios and catering halls, maximising all your available space. We have a wide variety of sizes available. Below, you can see how some of our custom-made tents have been used in the past.
Wardrobe
Creating large areas for cast changing and outfit storage is one of our specialties. Clothing rails, benches, seating and shelving can all be provided to match your specific size criteria.
Portable Flooring
Portable flooring is a must in any outdoor marquee. Our sturdy and quick-laying flooring allows for in-building quality with multi-location accessibility.
Catering
The creation of a space to feed hundreds can include benches, tables, lighting, heating and more – especially useful for seating extras.
Hair & Makeup
Providing the complete package for hair and makeup including stools and mirrored tables, we can create spaces for both artists and cast.
Workshops
For final product and set finishing, the marquees make ideal studios for temporary indoor workshops.
